Cold brewing is a very easy and inexpensive way to make a really nice coffee at home. You can use any container or jar you have at hand. You will need a strainer or paper coffee filter, you can also use French press for filtration.

- Grind your beans
How to grind coffee for cold brew?
Grind your coffee beans coarse (medium is also acceptable) - Place the coffee grounds in a jar (or any container) and pour over cold or room temperature water.
Stir to make sure all the grounds are wet.
What is the coffee to water ratio for cold brew?
The recommended coffee ratio is 70 g coffee to 1 l water. But really, there is no right or wrong, it depends how strong coffee you like. - Put it in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours
The longer it steeps, the stronger it will be. - Give it a good stir before filtering as it will be more dense at the bottom.

Pour over through a strainer, paper filter or use French press with a plunger.

You can serve it with ice cubes, with milk or more cold water. You can also serve it in deserts, with ice cream or with alcohol.
What is Hot Bloom Cold Brew?
Hot bloom method is a variation of cold coffee brewing technique. Hot bloom cold brew uses hot water to steep coffee at the beginning of brewing.
How to make coffee with the hot bloom method?
To make a hot bloom cold brew follow these steps:
- Use ⅓ of hot water.
Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds, stir and steep for 1 minute. Let the coffee soak for 1 minute and no longer than that. - Immediately after that add cold water – ⅔ of the water you want to use. The point is to quickly cool down the coffee.
- Leave it in the fridge for 12 – 24 hours.
